NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS
Background
Jennifer Krizan is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, and State Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor based in Minnesota. Her practice spans both office and telehealth sessions, reflecting her transition from leading a school-based mental health clinic and practicum site to providing therapy directly to clients. She works with individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan—supporting elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as adults navigating life’s many challenges.
Rooted in a client-centered, systems-informed approach, Jennifer blends creativity, compassion, and playfulness into her work. Her style invites warmth, curiosity, and collaboration, allowing clients to explore their stories, discover strengths, and build resilience. With extensive experience in culturally responsive care, she is passionate about supporting urban youth, couples, and families, and mentoring emerging mental health professionals.
Outside of sessions, creativity remains central to Jennifer's life. She has an art studio at home where she recharges and finds inspiration, bringing that same spirit of openness and innovation into her clinical work. She is also a proud mother of two adult daughters and a grandmother (“Gigi”) to a delightful granddaughter. At home, her fluffy sidekick Chiquita keeps her grounded and adds a touch of humor to daily life.
Whether in person or online, Jennifer strives to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to make meaningful change.
